PlainConsent

GDPR-proof cookie consent

Done in ten minutes. We check that it is right.

Sign up, paste one line of code, done. Then we look at your site and say in plain words whether it is right. Your Google statistics keep working, through Google's own consent system (Consent Mode v2), without following anyone who said no. And the cookie list keeps itself up to date: we scan your site every day. One flat price per site with every feature included, never per visitor.

The terms, stated plainly

  1. One script. Nothing to maintain.

A single small file that runs on any site and brings its own styling. It talks to our server in Europe and to nobody else: no ad networks, no trackers, no profiles of your visitors. And if our server is ever down, the banner still works and still blocks everything until someone chooses.

  2. No dark patterns.

Accept and decline carry equal weight. Your visitor chooses per category: statistics yes, marketing no. Changed minds can reopen the banner any time, and we only ask again when your cookie policy really changes. Consent that would hold up in a conversation, not just in court.

  3. Proof, not promises.

Every choice gets its own number and a receipt: what was asked, when, and what your visitor said. You keep those receipts in your own records. Built for GDPR Article 7: the burden of proof is yours, so the receipts are too.

  4. Speaks twenty languages.

English, Dutch, German, Spanish and French plus fifteen more built in, with full text overrides if you would rather phrase things your own way.

  5. Configured in minutes.

Answer a few questions, copy one line, paste it into your site. Tracking stays off until your visitor says yes, also for tags loaded through Google Tag Manager.

  6. The lowest price, guaranteed.

A flat price per site. No pageview meters, no subpage limits, no features held hostage in higher plans. Your traffic growing is good news, not a billing event. Find a comparable paid consent manager for less, and we beat that price by 10 percent. In writing. Full terms on the pricing page.

A few fair questions

Isn't there a free cookie banner?

Yes, and for a simple site a free tool can be enough. The catch is usually in the details: free tiers tend to limit you to one domain or a fixed number of subpages, put the vendor's name on your banner, and keep the consent record or its export behind a paid plan. With PlainConsent the proof, the twenty languages and your own branding are included from the first euro, at a flat price with no per-pageview meter. If a free tool covers what you need, use it. If you want provable consent that looks like your own brand, that is us.

Do I even need this if I do not track anything?

If your site sets no non-essential cookies, you may not need a consent banner at all, and we will happily tell you so. PlainConsent is for when you do run analytics or marketing tags and have to ask first, then prove you asked.
